Q: What is Gusto?
A: Gusto is an AI-powered QR menu generator and restaurant management app. It offers 57+ language support, order management, staff management, AI voice waiter, and discovery features.
Q: Who can use Gusto?
A: Both businesses and customers. Customers can discover restaurants and browse menus. Businesses can create digital menus, take orders, and manage staff.

Q: How much space does the app take?
A: Approximately 20 MB. It is battery-friendly and does not perform unnecessary background processes.
Q: Is my personal data safe?
A: Yes. Your data is not used for marketing, is not processed unnecessarily, and never leaves your device. Your recipes and product information are completely under your control.

Q: What should I do during the first launch?
A: You are presented with two options: Business Mode (if you are a restaurant owner) or Discover Mode (to explore restaurants as a customer).
Q: When is authentication (login) required?
A: Login is not required for Discovery. You need to log in with Gmail, Apple, or e-mail for order tracking or Business Mode.

A: Completely free for customers. Basic features for businesses (QR menu creation, AI visuals, macro calculation) are free. Premium and Platinum packages are available for a low monthly fee.

Q: What does the Discover feature do?
A: View live menus of businesses from all over the world with real prices. Businesses can update their menus instantly and highlight their products.
Q: How can I filter restaurants?
A: You can filter by distance, cuisine type, price, or verified businesses. Sorting options: distance (closest/farthest), alphabetical, or Google reviews.
Q: Can I see restaurants in other cities?
A: Yes! By entering a city name, you can view the current menus, prices, and allergen information of businesses registered in our system anywhere in the world.

Q: How does the Gusto QR scanner work?
A: When you scan a QR with Gusto, the system recognizes it automatically. Gusto QRs open inside the app, allowing you to place and track orders
Q: What happens if I scan a non-Gusto QR?
A: It opens normally without delay. Bonus: That restaurant is added to Discover in the background, so you and other users can follow it.

Q: How do I switch from Discover to Business Mode?
A: Go to Settings > Switch to Business Mode. You can return to Customer Mode at any time from the same place.

Q: How do I create a new menu?
A: Go to Panel > Gusto Menu, press the (+) button at the bottom right, and add your categories. You can add products to each category.
Q: How can I import my existing menu?
A: Upload a link, PDF, or photo. AI automatically extracts categories, products, and prices. You can then make simple edits.
Q: Can I create a menu from scratch?
A: Yes, use "Create from scratch" to manually add categories and products.
Q: How do I organize categories?
A: You can reorder them using drag-and-drop. You can also change a product's category from the product edit screen.
Q: How do I add a new product?
A: Enter a category, press the (+) button, enter product name/price/description, and save.
Q: How do I add product photos?
A: Tap the photo area on the product edit screen and choose from the gallery or take a photo with the camera.

Q: How do I create a QR code menu?
A: Go to Panel > Gusto Menu > Share. You can download or share your QR code.
Q: How do customers scan the QR code?
A: Customers scan the QR code with their phone camera, and the menu opens automatically.

A: We have Premium (QR menu publishing) and Platinum (online ordering, reservations, staff management, AI waiter) packages.
Q: How do I cancel my subscription?

A: A voice-activated AI assistant that takes orders. Customers can talk to the menu in 57+ languages. It promotes items the business wants to highlight.
Q: How do I activate the AI Waiter?
A: A Platinum subscription is required. Activate it from Operations > AI Voice Waiter.
Q: How do I personalize the AI Waiter?
A: In AI Voice Waiter settings:
- About: Promote your business (historical site, Michelin stars, famous chefs, parking, etc.)
- Greeting: Set how it welcomes customers
- Style: Choose from Default, Professional, Energetic, Relaxing, Cheerful, or Friendly.
Note: Whatever language you write in, the AI automatically translates it to the customer's language.
Q: Is the AI Waiter free in preview mode?
A: Yes. Testing the AI Waiter in menu preview does not consume your credits.
Q: Can I enable the AI Waiter only for in-house customers?
A: Yes. You can disable it for Discovery and enable it only for those who scan the QR.

A: Customers see the version you last "Published". When you change prices or items, you must click "Publish" for the changes to go live. No need to replace physical QR codes when prices change.
Q: How do I reset my menu?
A: In the Menu tab, there is a "Reset Menu" button. Warning: This will permanently delete all menu data.
Q: What menu styles and colors are available?
A: Styles: Magazine (default), Classic List, Book, Card, Gallery, and Navigation. Themes: Night, Gold, Nature, Ocean, Purple, Minimalist, and Retro.

Q: How does AI use my product info?
A: Product names and descriptions are used as prompts for AI image generation. Enter names in your original language; the system translates them automatically.

A: Half-portion ordering (1.5, 2.5, etc.), stock status (Available/Low/Out), tags (Popular, New, Chef's Choice, Vegan), prep time, and kitchen type selection.
Q: Can I manage product visibility?
A: Yes. You can set specific sales times (Happy Hours) or hide products using advanced visibility settings.
Q: How do I add extras or ingredients?
A: Use the "Extras" section for side sauces/add-ons and the "Ingredients" section for detailed macro and allergen analysis.

A: Cuisine type (via chips), average price per person, badges (Fine Dining, Vegan, etc.), business logo, and business photos (upload or generate with AI).

Q: How do AI Waiter minutes work?
A: Premium members get 30 complimentary minutes, and Platinum members get 90. Minutes used in "Menu Preview" tests do not count towards your balance.
Q: How do I refill AI Waiter minutes?
A: You can purchase 100, 500, or 1000-minute packs. These minutes never expire and are valid until consumed.
Q: How do I personalize the AI Waiter's knowledge?
A: The AI uses information from the "About" section and "Product Details" (e.g., special ingredients, handmade techniques, Michelin status) to answer customer questions.
Q: Can I change the AI Waiter's voice and style?
A: Yes. You can choose from different voice options (Default: Alloy) and styles (Professional, Energetic, Relaxing, Cheerful, or Friendly).
Q: Can I enable the AI Waiter only for in-house customers?
A: Yes. You can disable it for Discovery and enable it only for those who scan the QR in your restaurant.

Q: How does the Ordering System work?
A: Platinum users can accept orders manually via menu buttons or automatically through the AI Voice Waiter. You can track all orders in real-time on your dashboard.
Q: How are Reservation requests handled?
A: Customers select a date/time in the menu. You receive a notification and can approve or deny the request. Once approved, the reservation is confirmed.
Q: What is Staff Management (Authorized Personnel)?
A: You can invite staff members via email and assign them specific permission levels. You can revoke their access at any time without their consent.

A: Yes. In the Support section of Settings, you can email our technical team to request a personalized enterprise application tailored to your owner account.
Q: What happens if I delete my account?
A: Deleting your account will permanently wipe all your data from our system. Note: You can also just sign out if you want to keep your data.
